Show # 2 - Judge Noel Williams

Our show will be judged by Judge Noel Williams. Noel is a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist, as well as a USEF small “r” judge. A member of the 2007 NAJYRC Silver Medal team (Region 2), and the 2005 USEF Junior Dressage Team Championships Gold Medal, Noel was also the 2005 USEF Junior Dressage National Champion on the Hanoverian stallion Pik L. Noel and Pik L still hold the record for the highest score in the Junior Individual Test at a national or international championship in the United States. Chris is a well-respected classically trained dressage trainer who represented Bermuda in the 1999 Pan Am games. He is committed to producing lightness, balance, and harmony through emphasis of correct riding and solid basics. His students have been successful in the show ring, achieving scores of 70%+ at all levels, including FEI. Chris teaches in a calm and positive manner, making things as easy as possible for both horse and rider.
Horses and riders of all levels are welcome!

Our show will be judged by Judge Nancy Lindroth. Nanci is an accomplished USEF 'r' Judge in Dressage and Combined Training, an FEI-level Dressage Competitor, Level 3 ICP Certified Instructor and has 20 years of experience training horses and riders. She was long-listed for the USET Eventing Team for the 1980 Olympics and her past students include USET riders Dorothy Trapp Crowell & Teresa Hover Koral. Nanci has competed at the FEI levels in Dressage and Eventing, was a member of the 1987 Pan American 3 Day Gold Medal winning Team, and trained horses to Prix St. George.

Judge Katie Poag has earned her USDF Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals, USDF Gold, Silver and Bronze Freestyle Bar. In 2020 she and Zonnekoning were 3rd at the USEF Grand Prix National Championships, in 2017 they were winners at the GDF CDI 4* Grand Prix Special and the inaugural Tryon CDI 3* Grand Prix. In 2015 her stallion Zonnekoning was the number one Grand Prix Dutch Horse in the country and 8th in the country for all the Grand Prix horse and rider combinations. They were 4th place in the country for Developing Grand Prix 2014. She has won multiple Regional and CBLM Championships, and competed at the North American Young Riders Championships three times with team and individual placing. From 2007 to 2014 she was a member of the annual Young Dressage Horse Trainers Symposium, started by Scott Hassler, the former US Young Horse Head Coach. In 2014, Katie was awarded a grant by Hassler and the YDHTS to work with Anne Gribbons. Katie is also a licensed Small "r" dressage judge and is on the waiting list for the "R" program.
Katie’s ability to understand and train horses is remarkable and inspiring. She can help riders reach their goals whether they are beginners on a lunge line developing their balance, amateurs moving up to conquer the next level, or young riders qualifying for the North American Junior Young Rider Championships.

Our show will be judged by FEI 5* judge Peter Gray. For more information about Peter, please visit this link to read about Peter's one-day dressage symposium at Alborak Stable near Calgary, Alberta, which attracted 80 auditors. Gray emphasized his training philosophy and the importance of creating a partnership with the horse, and shared what it takes to achieve exceptional dressage marks.
